These Terms govern your use of soberbartender901.com and any event services you book from Jordan Knight, doing business as The Sober Bartender ("we," "us"). By using the Site or booking with us, you agree to these Terms. Each confirmed event is also governed by a signed Event Service Agreement.
We provide a mobile bar experience, cocktails, mocktails, and dirty sodas, professional bartending, setup and breakdown, garnish and presentation, and custom event menus, for events in the greater Memphis area. We provide the bartending and non-alcoholic components. Any alcohol served is supplied by the client (see Section 6). Minimum booking: four hours of bartending service.
Submitting the form is a request, not a confirmed booking. We'll follow up with availability and a quote. Your date is reserved only once we confirm in writing, you sign the Event Service Agreement, and we receive your deposit.
The deposit is always non-refundable. Because we turn away other work to hold your date, cancellation charges increase as the event approaches:

Rescheduling may be available subject to availability, ask as early as possible; your deposit transfers to the new date. If we cancel for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of amounts paid.
You agree to provide accurate event details and to ensure timely venue access, a safe environment for our staff, a level setup area, and access to power and water as needed. You are responsible for the venue, guests' conduct, and any venue-required permits.
We carry commercial general liability insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate. A certificate of insurance is available to clients and venues on request.
We serve greater Memphis and the surrounding Mid-South. Events beyond 30 miles of our business address incur a mileage travel fee at standard rates, quoted in advance.
We may photograph our bar setup, drinks, and the event atmosphere and use those images to promote our services. You may opt out at the time of booking.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for that event. We are not liable for guests' personal alcohol consumption, for indirect or consequential damages, or for circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control (severe weather, illness, venue closure, emergencies, etc.). We'll make good-faith efforts to reschedule.
Site content, branding, and images are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Please don't misuse the Site or attempt to disrupt it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee (Shelby County), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
