Jordan Knight, doing business as The Sober Bartender ("we," "us"), provides mobile bar services in the greater Memphis area and operates soberbartender901.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our booking or question form, we collect your name, email, phone, and event details, event date, guest count, location or venue, the package or add-ons you're interested in, and any notes you share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic usage data (pages viewed, device and browser type, referring page, approximate location from your IP address, and on-page interactions) through our analytics tools (see Section 3). Some set cookies (see Section 4).
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, plan and quote your event, and provide our services.
- To send a confirmation or follow up about your event.
- To operate, secure, measure, and improve the Site.
- To keep records of bookings and communications.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. How your information is stored and shared
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Neon, secure cloud database that stores your inquiry and booking details.
- Resend, sends our email notifications and your confirmation messages.
- Vercel, hosts the Site and runs our form-handling functions.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, website traffic and search analytics.
- Vercel Web Analytics, privacy-friendly, cookieless traffic measurement.
- Microsoft Clarity, aggregate heatmaps and session analytics to improve usability (input fields are masked by default).
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We use no third-party social or map embeds on the Site.
4. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to understand how the Site is used. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity set cookies; Vercel Web Analytics does not. We ask first: those cookies are set only if you allow them in the cookie notice, where you can accept all, choose essential only, or pick categories under cookie settings. Choosing essential only does not change how the Site works, and you can change your mind anytime via the cookie settings link in the footer. When you make a choice we record the choice itself anonymously (no name, no IP address) so we can honor and count it. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect functionality.
5. Data retention
We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to serve you and to maintain our business records, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (Section 6).

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, email privacy@soberbartender901.com.
California residents: under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, encrypted connections, access controls, and secrets kept server-side, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults booking events and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; we'll post the new version here with an updated date.
